Reflect & Complete 2021

It’s cliché. As we approach the end of 2021, it’s great to look back and think about everything we accomplished.
Before I continue, I’d like to acknowledge all the sorrow, anxiety and overwhelm we saw, and have seen since 2020.
This blog is merely a reflective practice of your business (and life if you wish).
We also saw progression. We were (almost forced) into different ways of thinking, acting and working. I thoroughly enjoyed 2021. For me it was the year of change, risk and growth.
I invite you to take note that whatever has happened, has happened.
Note: you may even remember it differently (worse/better) than it was. Head, heart & gut
As you reflect, notice:
The thoughts that come to your mind
The feeling you feel/felt in your body
When you used your “gut instinct” to manage risk and take on challenges
Circumstances
As human being’s we allow our circumstances to influence our thoughts, feelings, and actions. When I say this, I know I am asking you to be unreasonable. It is for you to determine when it is appropriate for you to take time out or where you are merely using circumstances as an excuse. Neither is good nor bad.
Promises
Notice with our promises:
Sometimes we say them flippantly: we don’t note them down, nor do we remember them.
Sometimes we say them and have no intention of fulfilling on them.
Sometimes we really “try hard”.
Other times, we do what we say we are going to do.
As you answer the following questions give yourself compassion, love, and kindness. Ask yourself:
What did you accomplish?
What did you not accomplish?
Where did you say you would do something, and not do it?
Where did you say you would do something and you did do it?
Where have you allowed your circumstances to influence you?
Where have you acted regardless of your circumstances?
What has been the impact of that?
What did you learn about yourself?
What are you most proud of?
How did you feel in 2021?
Do you have any regrets?
What do you forgive yourself for?
What are you willing to let go of to jump into 2022?
What would you take into 2022?
Happy New year to you all! Have a lovely holiday!
